This Privacy Policy explains how Counci Courier (the “Service”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our email distribution platform.
We collect the information you provide when you create an account (such as your name, email address, and organization), the distribution lists and subscriber addresses you import, and the templates and messages you create. We also collect operational metadata about email delivery, such as sends, bounces, and complaints.
We use this information to operate the Service: to authenticate you, to send the email you configure, to track delivery and suppress addresses that bounce or complain, and to provide support. We do not sell your personal information or your subscribers’ information.
Outbound email is sent through our email infrastructure provider (Mailgun). Message content and recipient addresses are transmitted to that provider solely to deliver your mail. Delivery events are returned to us to keep suppression lists accurate.
We retain account and email data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls scoped to your organization. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Recipients of your email may unsubscribe at any time using the link in each message.
